We opened our doors on the 28th August 2014 with the aim of providing a friendly, compassionate referral service for the animals under our care. Planning for the practice began over a year ago.

Permission for the conversion of the building was eventually granted in April 2014. A complete refurbishment of the building was undertaken over the following 5 month’s. It has not been without its ups and downs. At times the building looked more like a demolition site than a work in progress. My team of builders kept reassuring me that it would “all come together in the end”. Walking around the practice today I have to say the builders were right.

The practice now has a large spacious waiting room, two consulting rooms, separate dog and cat kennels, two dedicated sterile theatres and a full post op recovery/ICU ward. We have also invested in state of the art digital radiographic equipment. Plans are also in place to put a CT scanner into the practice, which will allow us to diagnose and therefore treat our patients earlier. I will keep you posted on these exciting developments.
