An overview of

The referral process

The referral process can seem complicated and confusing, especially when you want your pet to be seen as quickly as possible. We’re here to explain how it works, and help to put you at ease.

Understanding

What is a referral?

A referral happens when your primary vet determines that your pet needs specialist advice or care. They might not have to expertise or the facilities needed, so they’ll recommend that your pet is seen at a specialist referral centre – which is where we come in.

All of our veterinary specialists are real experts in their field, so you can be sure that when you’re referred to us your pet is receiving the very best care.
