Daniel graduated with a degree in Veterinary Medicine from The University of Zaragoza (Spain) in 2006 where he also completed a rotating internship (2007).
Following several years in general practice in Spain he completed a Postgraduate Certificate on Veterinary Dentistry and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2009 and a Postgraduate Certificate on Small Animal Orthopaedics in 2012, both at The University of Madrid. Daniel has been working in UK practices at referral level since 2013, including 2 years at Fitzpatrick Referrals. He has presented both here in the UK and in Europe about many aspects of orthopaedics. He has a keen interest in key hole surgery, decision making for elbow dysplasia and complex fracture repair. Daniel achieved his Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice through the University of Liverpool in 2019 before joining Dogwood Referrals in November 2019.
Outside work, Daniel enjoys practicing all kind of sports, scuba diving and traveling.
